The Turcon® Variseal® is a spring‑energized, single‑acting U‑profile seal made from advanced PTFE‑based Turcon® or Zurcon® materials, housing a corrosion-resistant energizing spring. It delivers excellent sealing performance in static, reciprocating, and rotary applications across extreme pressures, temperatures, and chemical environments. Key benefits include low friction with no stick‑slip, high abrasion and extrusion resistance, universal media compatibility, and dimensional stability from cryogenic (–253 °C) to high‑temperature (+300 °C) ranges.
